Let’s talk -Weaning 🍌

Let’s talk -Weaning 🍌

I’ll be honest with you I was dreading the Weaning stage because it just seemed so overwhelming and so much to learn, what he can and can’t eat at his age etc. But recently I’ve discovered BLW(baby led Weaning) which we both enjoy, this morning logan tried banana, pear and carrot, he didn’t choke which was my main worry with BLW. We have also tried making our own purees, as much as it is time consuming I feel much happier…

Logan’s 24 week update

Logan’s 24 week update

Logans 24 week update  Logan’s come on leaps and bounds and is showing all typical 5th leap behaviours. He has recently discovered his feet and tries to eat them when he’s in the bath or when I’m changing his nappy. He is constantly drooling and we’re going through a tonne of bibs because of this nasty teething pain, he has 2 bottom teeth already. Logan can now sit up unaided, sometimes he’ll have a few wobbles but that’s it he’s…

The one thing I regret the most…😶

The one thing I regret the most…😶

Surprisingly there aren’t many things I regret since having Logan. But there is one thing that has always played on my mind and that is breastfeeding, i do regret not trying, i do regret doing solely bottle feeding, why did I let the pressure of others sway me to use the bottle? Why is breastfeeding such a taboo subject? I guess my anxiety didn’t help either, I was thinking to myself, what if my baby gets hungry and I’m in…

My experience – being a new mummy 👪👶💙

My experience – being a new mummy 👪👶💙

If you had told me that I would be a mum at 23 I would not have believed you, because I wasn’t very maternal and didn’t think about having babies and all that responsibility. I would have told you that I am waiting until I get married and have a good job! But since I met my fiance who I’ve been with for over 4 years now, the way I viewed the world and everything around me changed, i matured…

My Labour and Delivery Story

My Labour and Delivery Story

One evening while watching EastEnders i noticed this really uncomfortable, yet bearable twinge in my lower abdomen, i thought nothing of it at first until it happened again about 10 minutes later, so i decided to start timing them as i thought this could be the real deal, i could be in early labour…turns out i was, these pains started to get more painful and less bearable until about 11pm i had to take a paracetamol and have a warm…
