The original thread was started by Donna at whattheredheadsaid, Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took its name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.
This week wasn’t the best week for us over in rainy Wrexham because poor my poor little logibear was poorly and had a nasty cough, cold and sore throat, and safe to say we didn’t do much that week since all our attention went into making sure Logan was well looked after with calpol/cough syrup around the clock.
But even though he was very poorly he still manages to crack a smile, even though the night times weren’t easy especially with him in his own room now, it meant going back and to his room and many night time cuddles, and because of his blocked nose he couldn’t really drink much.
This week has been much better, Logan has finally got over his nasty cold and cough and he has learnt a new skill, he has figured out that he can pull himself up onto furniture, my leg anything he can get a grip on he will pull or at least attempt to pull himself up. Which scares the absolute life out of me because I’m not ready for a walking baby yet, it didn’t seem that long ago that he was a 7lb bundle of sleepiness. Also this week we have started back at Chatterbox which is a local baby/toddler group which is funded by flying start and we sing songs, do something creative and read books, and his favourite (Play with lego, well put anything he can into his mouth time).
