This year I thought it would be super exciting to take part in #Blogtober2017 if you don’t know what that is, then hop along to Hexmum’s blog (Mandi) and you can take a looksie. I have also decided that I’m going to go all Stealth mode with these posts, as i don’t want to spam my homepage with blogtober, but don’t worry I’m still taking part! – You can also click on my blogtober image in the sidebar.
Day 3 of Blogtober is all about Cars, when I first saw this in the prompt list I freaked out, I know nothing about cars, nor do I own one, so I’ve been mowing over this one for a while thinking about what I could write to do with cars, at first I thought about the Delorean from the Back to the future films, but then I realised that one may already be taken up, but what I kept thinking about was something more realistic, so in today’s Blogtober post I am going to tell you all about Logan and his toy car obsession.
First off can I just ask, why does every single little boy I know seem to be obsessed with things that have 4 wheels? I haven’t a problem with it at all I’m just a little curious.
I must have counted at least 5 different toy cars scattered across the living room all waiting to be tripped over, some with missing doors, and others with missing wheels, makes me wonder why we spend so much on toys for toddlers when all they seem to do is break them, at no fault of their own as they are just inquisitive little souls aren’t they.
He never used to be so interested in cars, I mean he even hates travelling in the car, so makes me question why he likes playing with them so much, but then I’m guessing he just hates the carseat more than the car itself..hmm.
For his 1st birthday we bought him a JCB ride on and for some reason another smaller ride on car (don’t ask, I think we had forgotten about the JCB) anyway, he used to avoid both at all costs and just use them as a place to store all his smaller toys and the occasional biscuit, but now he bloody loves them and rides them all around the living room for the majority of his awake time (he even drags both around at the same time).
Gosh, who knew I could talk so much about cars, hope you enjoyed reading this post. Do your little boys have this cars obsession too?
